Misc. Fall Happenings

The fall has flown by! We've been busy with school and sports like normal, although things are still very abnormal.

the Bible ceremony at Harding was virtual this year so James couldn't be there. I was thrilled to be able to be there as a participant and even received my own Harding Bible. It was a special day for both Case and me. I'm sure it'll feel like no time before he's walking back across the stage as a high school graduate, same Bible in hand.

Cross Country State Bound Send Off

Back to school schedule got us like ...

And like ...

Virtual Happy in Memphis 5k

Soccer tournament for Em

Soccer tourney for Case

Finalists

And then Case and James tested positive for Covid-19 the week of Thanksgiving, so we had a nice quarantined Thanksgiving at home. Case and James mostly stayed upstairs in the playroom and Emery and I started downstairs. Somehow, we both escaped getting it. CJ too.

Entertaining ourselves with Snapchat filters. We were a bit stir crazy!

It wasn't the Thanksgiving we had planned, but we were thankful that the boys weren't too sick and that we were still able to have some fun. We were also WELL taken care of by many friends in our Memphis village. We are most grateful for our village that took such great care of us when we couldn't get out and about.

That's a Wrap on 3rd and 5th Grade

With such a crazy end to the school year (reminder: we were in quarantine), I totally forgot to do my end of the school year post with some of the pics I pulled from the teacher blogs. It was certainly a wild end to a great year!

May Happenings

The month of May was an eventful month for many reasons!

MemPOPs visited Brierwood

Case broke his wrist in a bike crash (riding with all the neighborhood kiddos)

We officially have a middle schooler! Not the ending to elementary school we expected ...

Feeling extra loved on Mother's Day this year!

Mother's Day bike ride with my fave guy

Had to document the cheapest gas I've ever purchased. Silver lining to Covid-19.

Lots of bike riding happening during the pandemic.

Scenes from the bike

More puzzles

Mario signed with Central Christian College of Kansas to play basketball.

I celebrated my 38th birthday!

First dinner out since March! A lovely evening on the patio at Coastal Fish Co.

James and I celebrated 16 years of marriage. The tent was my gift. Ha!

And James FINALLY got a haircut! His first since February.
