I'm trying to get caught up on my blogging, so here are a few more recent pics of our growing boy. I can't believe how many new tricks he has including rolling over. I also threw in one picture from our first attempt at eating cereal...we'll be trying again later, and please ignore my bed head...

Case's First Christmas

We just returned from Mountain View where we spent Christmas with my family. Case was such a good boy, even with a cold and we all had a great time hanging out with our relatives, opening presents, eating, eating and eating some more!

Here are some pics of our Christmas Eve festivities...Christmas with my Dad's family and then Christmas with my Mom's family...we have a very busy Christmas Eve.

Since I've been back to work, I haven't had much time to blog. Work and day care is still going good. I was really looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend , but instead, it's been a crazy one. Case has a bad cold, complete with a fever, runny nose and bad cough and James has had the stomach virus. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Case and I don't get it too.

Case went to the pediatrician this past week for his 4 month check up. I can't believe he's already four months old! He weighed in at 15.5 lbs and measured 25.5 inches long.

We've had a whirlwind of a past few weeks. We had a great Thanksgiving in Waverly with James' family (pics above) and are looking forward to spending Christmas in Mtn. View. I was supposed to finish up my shopping this weekend, but will be cramming it in next weekend instead along with all of the other procrastinators!

First Tooth!

Here are a few more new pics of our cutie pie. Although tonight he wasn't so cute. He's cutting his first tooth and has been so fussy...something we're certainly not used to! He's been drooling like crazy the last few days, and when he acted so awful this evening, I checking in his mouth and sure enough, there's a bump on his gums and you can see where it's about to poke through. I can't stand him being in pain and hope it gets better soon!

Strept Throat and Back to Work

So, after the ear infections my last days of maternity leave got even worse. I then got strept throat and it was awful. My in-laws had to come back to help and then my parents came to help out! Thank goodness they are close enough to come when we really need them! So instead of starting back to work on Monday, I officially went back on Tuesday. Case seems to like day care and I think he is the best baby there. They say he never fusses and today I picked him up and every baby was crying but him. He was just sitting in the bouncy seat watching all the other babies cry! I don't know how we got so lucky to have such a good baby! It's such a blessing and makes going to work so much easier! The pics above are of Case and my Dad watching football and of Case all bundled up before heading out to school.

Worst Week Ever

This week my ears have both been completely swollen shut and I have been in some serious pain. I have had three knee surgeries and a baby and nothing has hurt as bad as the ear infections I've had this week. I had to go to an ENT doctor and have "wicks" put in my ears so the medicine could get inside them. I have gone over four days not being able to hear anything but my own talking and chewing. I've been about to go CRAZY!!! The good thing was that they were outer ear infections, so I wasn't contagious, and didn't have to worry about Case getting sick. Thank goodness James' mom was able to come down on Monday and stay for a few days to help me out. I couldn't take care of my baby! She was a real life saver!

What a way to spend my last week of maternity leave! Makes me so sad!!!

Catching Up

We had a very busy weekend this past weekend. It started early when our friends from college, Drew and Rachel, came to visit from Dallas. They stayed with us in Memphis Thursday and Friday night and then we traveled to Searcy, for Harding's Homecoming.

My mom and dad came to Searcy to babysit for us during the game. My feet ended up hurting so bad that we didn't even stay at the game for long! I should have taken pics of my blisters...the worst I've ever had.

On Sunday, we traveled to Waverly to visit James' family.
