Polar Plunge 2023

We finally put our new pool to use getting it cleaned up and ready for the kids to kick of 2023 with the Polar Plunge. We thought about turning the heater on for them but decided that was cheating. And while it was 70 degrees earlier in the day, the water was a brisk 55 degrees so definitely still considered a polar plunge. It was a fun way to celebrate the new year. We will have to make it an annual neighborhood tradition. 

 

Happy Halloween 2022

Here we go again! Halloween is one of those holidays that just hits different when you have a toddler. We enjoyed doing ALL the things with our baby shark this year. 

It was an extra-celebratory week leading up to Halloween as it was HOCO week at Harding Academy.

July 4 Festivities

We celebrated our nation's independence all weekend long! And in the most glorious weather I can ever recall on July 4 in Memphis! 

Friday night we had dinner at Graci's followed by the Bartlett fireworks with the whole Purlin Family (Pitts, Turman, Nowlin). 

 

Sunday was the actual 4th, and we made a mad dash after church to make the neighborhood parade.
