Emery's first tooth!

It's official. My baby has lost her first baby tooth! It had been loose for weeks and was ready to come out just when I was headed out of town for a work trip. I think James talked her into leaving it alone for a few days so I wouldn't miss the big event. Whatever he said to her worked! She kept it in and upon my arrival home, we pulled that sucker! The tooth fairy came and left a dollar under her pillow that night and she was pumped! She's getting too big! I think I may go cry now. 

Snow Day!

It wasn't much snow, but in Memphis, we take what we can get! It was good enough to get the kids out of school and make a few snow balls. Hoping for enough to sled on next time around!

James 38th Birthday

Birthdays are so fun and we kicked off James' 38th with a fun outing to the Memphis Escape Room with James' parents. And bonus...we actually escaped!! It was so much fun. We had a bit of a slow start and someone in our group (who will remain unnamed but was celebrating his birthday) was not optimistic that we would get out, but we came on strong at the end and got out with two minutes to spare! 

Then James and I headed out for a lovely dinner with some great friends at one of our favorite Memphis restaurants. It was a perfect (and delicious) end to a great year. Looking forward to 2017!
