Christmas 2018

We've had a wonderful Christmas this year! We kicked off the festivities on Christmas Eve by hosting a brunch for some of our besties. The food was YUMMY! A great way to kick off our Christmas!

Shelbys, Butlers and Wildricks

After brunch, our Christmas Eve kind of took a turn ... let's just say it didn't go the way we had planned, but thanks to the Wildricks, it wasn't ruined. They saved our Christmas by stepping in and helping out in BIG ways! This year (more than ever) we are especially grateful for friends who are more like family. We will be forever grateful!

Finally ... Christmas morning!!

Case got some books, a new video game, a VR Star Wars game, Little Foxy (the original is lost somewhere in Zion National Park), Grizzlies gear and a few more little things.

Emery got some things to make "cozy spaces" out of, an echo dot, a Caboodle with some make up and a trampoline!

Those kids must have been good this year.

Christmas morning tradition of biscuits and chocolate gravy ... YUMMY!!

The day after Christmas, James, David and Case went to a Grizzlies game and had a big time!

Christmas in Mountain View 2018

We had a fantastic Christmas in Mountain View this year. Mid-week the forecast was calling for 8" of snow and we were so excited. We loaded up our snow gear and our sleds and headed for the hills! Well ... we didn't get 8" but we did get just enough to make Christmas memories we won't soon forget.

These pics are all mixed up and out of order ...

We did open just a few presents, but the BIG gift this year was a surprise announcement that we are planning a family trip to Chicago in 2019! Woohoo! Windy City here we come!

Excited about slime ...
