Thanksgiving 2016

Another Thanksgiving is in the books and we've had a great one! We kicked the festivities off with the annual feast at Harding Academy. This is one of my favorite school events of the year (a ton of work for the parents but so worth it).

Then we headed to Waverly for Thanksgiving with James' family. I was extra thankful for a drama free trip this year. Two years ago when we were there for Thanksgiving is when I had the stomach virus and Emery got her hair stuck in the treadmill. This year everyone remained healthy and there were no mishaps! The kids had the best time! Super duper thankful for our family!

Happy in Memphis 2016

There's no doubt that we are still happy in Memphis! We had a fun morning running to help support Harding Academy!

Kindergarten Soccer

Emery had a great soccer season this fall. There were a lot of great moments and a few frustrating moments (it's a field full of kindergarteners after all) but it was a great season! We were so proud of our girl!

Sock Hop

In celebration of Harding Academy White Station's 50th anniversary, the students and teachers had a 50's day and sock hop.Emery was so pumped about wearing her poodle skirt! They had a ball! 

Pumpkins and Halloween

2016 will go down as one of the hottest October months ever. It was difficult at times to get into the pumpkin/Halloween spirit, but we did our best!

I accompanied Case on his class field trip to Cedar Hill Farm. The kiddos had a great time...corn maze, pig races, petting zoo and more! Plus 10 other school groups...it was wild but fun!

And then the kids had their school parties on Halloween day.

 

Then we trick-or-treated with our neighborhood friends and Case finally got to dress up. He was Charizard (a Pokemon character) and Emery was Draculaura from Monster High. It was great fun but we were all burning up. We had to come home and hydrate afterwards.
