Can't Get Her Down

Those of you who know me well know that one of my greatest fears in life is the stomach bug and it hit our household on Saturday afternoon! Luckily I had been tipped off that Emery had been exposed to it on Friday morning, so I had a feeling that it was coming and had made a run to Kroger on Saturday to stock up on Pedialyte, bananas and apple sauce just in case. Just as James was making fun of me for being paranoid, Emery throws up her last meal! Thankyouverymuch, James! Sometimes it pays to be over-prepared! Yesindeed!

Anyway, this video was taken about 30 minutes after she upchucked. Puke and rally, Emery! Can't get this girl down!

Happy New Year!

Well I have to say that the last few days of 2012 and the first of 2013 were great ones! James' parents came into town on Sunday and we celebrated Christmas one more time! On New Years Eve we all celebrated James' 34th birthday and then James and I enjoyed a great dinner at Cafe 1912 with our friends, the Butlers! And then today's just been a lazy day around the house...we never even got out of our pj's! Such a fun and relaxing close to the year! So very thankful to have such amazing family and friends in our lives! We are truly blessed! Happy Happy New Year!
