A Week of Relaxation

So, this is how I spent the entire week of my much anticipated vacation! I did venture out into the sun for a couple of hours a day and came home with quite a tan...well, quite a tan by my skin standards anyway! And for those of you who are wondering how I tanned my backside, I was able to blow up an air mattress (about half way) and lay on my belly in the pool and it was GREAT! I haven't been able to lay on my stomach in over 4 months, so it was quite a treat! Now it' back to the "real" world and back to work until Case decides to make his entrance into the world!

Here are some pics of my baby bump at 32 weeks and just over 32 weeks. Getting bigger by the minute and sleeping less and less! I'm devoting the month of July to working on the nursery, so I'll post some pics once I start making some progress!

In Need of a Vacation!

For those of you who are wondering if I've fallen off the face of the Earth, I am still around, I've just been on the road traveling for work the entire month of June. My first trip took me to Phoenix, AZ where it was over 100 degrees. We were staying at a resort property and it was quite depressing arriving on Sunday only to see the pools filled with honeymooners. There's nothing worse than seeing people on vacation at a beautiful resort when you're there working your tail off. It made me very bitter!

The next stop was Minneapolis, MN where the weather was beautiful. Sunny and 75 degrees, however, I never even set foot out of the hotel to enjoy it! We stayed downtown and I was greatly impressed. We did venture to the Target that's in downtown which was FANTASTIC. It was two stories and there was an escalator just to take your shopping cart up or down for you. I felt like a kid in a candy store! When I travel to cool cities, it makes me realize that Memphis still has a lot to figure out!

And the last stop was Charlotte, NC. This was my first trip to Charlotte, and I must say that I loved it! I seriously think I could live here. The people are so nice and it's a beautiful area. Lots of trees and hills.

Anyway, needless to say, after all of this travel, I'm exhausted and ready for a vacation which I will be taking next week! I'm headed to Destin for a girls trip with my Mom and Aunt. Then the month of July is going to be devoted to getting ready for James Case's arrival. I've got to start getting his room ready! Baby bump pics to come sometime soon, so stay tuned!
