The Journey Continues (Part III)

We still can't get enough of our Maisy girl! This month we started school at Little Harding and promptly got the stomach bug and then RSV. It's been a bit of a rough start but she is the happiest sick baby we've ever seen. Hoping for a bit of a break from all the things so we can rest and recover fully! 

This is a big week in our case ... we have a custody hearing on Friday, September 3 and are praying that the judge takes her out of DCS custody and places her with us. We can't wait to bring this girl home to stay for good!

Did Someone Say "Teenager?"

Ladies and gentlemen, we officially have a teenager in the house! I'm not sure how that's possible, but it seems like we can't deny it. Things are always a little crazy around Case's birthday and this year was no different. But we managed to squeeze in some celebrating and will go see the Lion King at the Orpheum in November for his big gift.

Happy #13, buddy! We are so proud to be your parents. Some things remain the same as you begin your 13th trip around the sun ... you still love soccer, video games, reading, playing the piano and antagonizing your sister. Some things have changed ... you are now as tall as your momma, you sound a bit different, you have discovered a new love of tennis and you have moved into a new room, having given yours up for your new baby sister. You are starting to take more initiative and become more independent every day. We love watching you discover the things that make you special and a unique part of this family. We look forward to all that this year will bring and pray that you will continue to learn and discover all that the Lord has in store for you.

Back to School 2021-2022

After the fastest summer on record, it's time to head back to school for 7th and 5th grade! Praying these kiddos have the best year ever (even in masks).
