Summatime

We've had a great start to the summer and are enjoying the slower pace (and sleeping in). The kids have one camp in June and one camp in July, so for the most part are with me during the weekdays. Now that they are getting older, it's easier to get some work done throughout the day, but we still try and get out for a few hours. It does everybody good!

Camp Highland 2017

James and I had a great week at camp with the junior class. We took a break last summer and really missed being there, so we couldn't wait for the week to get here. This year we were in individual cabins (without an attached bathroom which made for some interesting late-night runs in the rain) but I survived. It was such a great week with many memories made! Big thanks to James' parents for keeping our kids all week so we could both be there together. The kids did get a chance to come out and play a couple of afternoons and we loved having them there. Can't believe that next year Case will be there as a camper...crazy!

Mountain View | Summer 2017

The kids and I had a great trip to Mountain View to kick off the summer. It was complete with a trip to Branson to see Moses, many hours of creek swimming at Blanchard, time with family and most importantly (for the kids)...lots of extra play time with their cousins.
