There just are no words...

I am so grateful and thankful for two very special people. Nana and Maw Maw (my mother and my mother-in-law). Words can't even begin to express how grateful James and I are to have had them in our home this past month to keep our kiddos. It was very difficult to go back to work, but knowing that Emery (and Case) were so well taken care of during the day made it a bit easier. It was also nice having an extra set of hands early in the morning and at night too, even after James and I were both home from work! I'm afraid that we may have gotten a bit used to it. Hmmmm...

Again, a big "thank you" to you both! I don't know what we would do without you! We love you and appreciate you very very much!

**I wanted to post a pic of each of them with the kids, but in the craziness of being back at work, I just forgot, so I'll have to add pics in later.

E's Three Month Proofs

The proofs from Emery's three month portrait session with Lindsey Lissau are up and I don't know how I'll ever decide which ones to order. If you have an opinion, let me know! Below are just a few of the cutest ones to share. BTW, in these first few, she's wearing one of my dresses that my mom saved for me. It's still in great shape, almost 30 years later.

The West Cousins

Last weekend James' sister, Sarah, and her family were here visiting us from Austin, TX along with his parents. The kiddos had a great time. Case loves playing with his Texas cousins, Greyson and Eli. It was nearly too hot to do much of anything, but we played in the back yard a bit and went to the park at Shelby Farms for as long as we could stand it.

Getting photos of them all together was no easy task...

Maw Maw and Paw Paw with all of their grand kids. This was no easy task either, as you can see...

Do Not Disturb

This is too cute and funny not to share. You see, although I'm back at work, I'm still nursing Emery, so that requires me to pump a couple of times during the work day. The same was the true when I came back after having Case and I had several people barge in my office while pumping despite the sign on my door that said, "Do Not Enter." This time I'm in a new office that has a lock on the door, so it shouldn't be a problem, but I love that one of my friends in the creative department, Michelle, made this fantastic sign for my door knob! This should clear up any confusion as to whether or not to come in should my door be closed for ANY reason! :)

I Do

This past weekend we were in Mountain View for my cousin, Tanner's wedding. It was beautiful. All of it. The rehearsal, the wedding, the reception, the bride, etc. It was a bit hot, especially for the rehearsal on Friday, but we survived! The wedding and reception was at the home of the bride and the rehearsal dinner was at the home of the groom. I took lots of pics to document the occasion.

Here are all of the "bell boys" at the rehearsal getting their bells to practice walking down the isle before the bride. Case and Evan did an excellent job.

The bride and groom.
Did I mention that it was hot?

The rehearsal dinner was at the home of the groom's parents (my aunt and uncle's) and it was lovely. The kids had a great time playing in the creek.

Poppy Whit and all of his grandsons in the paddle boat.
Ms. Sally and Emery.
And now for all you Arkansas fans....the bride is Halley Mallett. Cousin of Ryan Mallett. For all you non-Arkansas or non-SEC football fans, Ryan Mallett is the former quarterback at Arkansas now New England Patriot. Will and Case had their pic made with him at the rehearsal dinner. Case even got to play catch with him for a bit. Pretty darn cool.
Ryan had been told that Case's dad was a big Tennessee fan, so when he was playing with him, he had him saying "Go Hogs!" It was a good thing James missed it! I enjoyed every minute of it!
The clouds came out just in time for the ceremony on Saturday night and we enjoyed a fantastic evening outdoors without even breaking a sweat!

Will made a great ring bearer.

Congratulations Tanner and Halley! It was wonderful and we wish you guys all the best!
