Football Season

This was the first time Case has played tackle football and the first time to play football of any kind since his 1st grade flag football season. I think it's safe to say he has caught the football bug. He had a blast! He punted, kicked and played receiver. The season was made extra special with a big time catch and touchdown in our very first game. We were super proud of all our boys! Wish I had a team pic.

Back to School Bash (Redux)

We had a great time at the Lower School Night/Back to School Bash! We were so proud of our tiny cheerleader!

Thanksgiving 2016

Another Thanksgiving is in the books and we've had a great one! We kicked the festivities off with the annual feast at Harding Academy. This is one of my favorite school events of the year (a ton of work for the parents but so worth it).

Then we headed to Waverly for Thanksgiving with James' family. I was extra thankful for a drama free trip this year. Two years ago when we were there for Thanksgiving is when I had the stomach virus and Emery got her hair stuck in the treadmill. This year everyone remained healthy and there were no mishaps! The kids had the best time! Super duper thankful for our family!

4th of July

We had an amazing (and long) 4th of July weekend! We kicked it off early with a road trip to Dallas to stay with James' sister for a few days.

On Saturday afternoon, we headed over to hang out with some of our college buddies that we haven't seen in a long time (about six years). It was so fun seeing everyone, meeting their kids and catching up a bit. We hope it won't be six more years until we have another reunion.

Then we headed back to Memphis on Sunday night so we wouldn't miss the 4th of July festivities in our neighborhood the next day. Our biggest crowd ever for the parade! Followed by a fun afternoon of swimming at the neighbor's!
