Georgia ODP

This weekend was truly a gift. It's rare that James and I (together) get one-on-one time with our kids. So a whole weekend in Georgia with Case (made possible by grandparents) was so much fun! We got to watch him do what he loves on the pitch, ventured a bit off the beaten path to see the Vecna house from Stranger Things, and witnessed the end of the World Cup final on the field with a bunch of 2008 boys from Tennessee and Georgia, a moment these boys will never forget. Oh, and my first time at But-ee's which nearly triggered a panic attack, redeemed only by bribing Case for a pic with the Santa Buc-ee.

Such a fun season. These girls made it to the championship game and were league runner-ups.

Miscellaneous May Happenings

Whew! When did May become the busiest month of the year? So. Many. Things. But they were (mostly) all good.

Closed out a great MS track season with a 6th place finish in the 4 x 400 and a PR in the open 400

Mother's Day on the soccer field for a tournament in Franklin

We had a very sick baby on our hands and found out upon our return home that she had Covid

Literally slept the entire weekend her fever was so high, poor baby!

Somehow the rest of the crew escaped, but Maisy and I were both down for a few days

Feeling better!

And back at school

Catching up with Mario who is back for the summer

Another bike ride

Another nap

Braces off!

Non-Covid nap time

Cheered our Grizzlies on in the playoffs

Wrapped up a great Elementary track season

And finished off the year as boys and girls state runner ups for our varsity teams
