Ready for the Yucatan!

Okay, so I am officially ready to go on vacation. The final task on my to-do list was to find a swimsuit and I finally found one that I like...wahoo...and what a relief! I was afraid I was going to have to go swimming in a t-shirt and shorts which would have made for some awful tan lines! I'm really looking forward to introducing Case to the ocean and a swimming pool. Next Thursday can't come soon enough! I'm planning on packing us up this weekend. I'm going to try and pack for all three of us in one large suitcase and a couple of backpacks. Is it possible? We shall see.

And now, for those of you that would be disappointed if I didn't post a photo, here is the latest photo of Case holding his own bot-bot. He's a real pro at it now! He's also getting four teeth in on the top. They all just broke through the skin today. He's going to have a whole head full of teeth in a few weeks!

Snoozing, Sweet Potatoes and Sitting Up

Case conked out after going to the doctor and getting his shots! He weighs 19 lbs. 4 oz. and is 27.5" long. He's in the 90th percentile for weight and height!

Case can sit up all by himself now and can also hold his own bottle. I need to snap a picture of that and post as well!

Case loves him some sweet potatoes! Yummy! He's now had squash, sweet potatoes, peas, pears, bananas and peaches. I've yet to find something that he won't eat. He eats it all so far, but sweet potatoes and pears are his very favorite! He's a little piggy! :)

Go Tigers Go!

We took Case to his first Tiger game last week and it was a disaster! He hadn't had a nap that afternoon and wasn't in a great mood to begin with. We made it through the first two minutes of the game and then I left and brought him home to put him to bed. We should have known better! But he and James sure were cute in their tiger blue together!

New Heights

Case's highchair came in the mail last week and thanks to James' dad, it's now been assembled. Case loves to sit in it to eat and to play and he looked so cute sitting in it, that I just had to snap some pics to share. It cracks me up that it's so big...it kind of swallows him up, but he'll grow into it very quickly, I'm sure!

Happy Homemade Valentine's

So my very talented and crafty friend Stacey hosted a brunch yesterday morning for some much needed girl time. Not only did we eat a lot of yummy brunch food, but we also made homemade Valentine's cards. Of course she helped us by providing some templates, but we all put our own personal touches on our cards. I certainly don't consider myself to be the least bit creative, even though I work in advertising, but I think mine turned out pretty good, nonetheless! :) It was so much fun and I hope to get crafty again for another occasion down the road...

All Dressed Up

I know, I know...you're not supposed to wear white before Easter, and yes, this is Case's Easter outfit, but I was afraid that he would outgrow it before Easter. And, since it was 70 degrees today, I thought he should wear it to church this morning! Doesn't he look adorable? James thought he looked like a girl, but since I brought him into the world, he decided that I could dress him however I like! :) The last picture was taken after he woke up from his nap this afternoon and he was sick of the picture taking and wanted some MILK!

Nearly 6 Months Old!

Case was worn out at our Super Bowl get-together at Ben and Sara's!

Case and Sneed
Well, I can't believe that in one week, Case will be six months old! Time is flying by! I've got all of Case's gear for our vacation in a few weeks. I'll post some pics soon of him modeling his new swimsuits and sunglasses! He's too cute! I, on the ohter hand, have not had any luck on the quest for a swimsuit. I'm headed out again this weekend to try again! Above are some of the latest pics I've taken of him. His feet finally touch the floor in his jumperoo and he loves it! He bounces up and down and makes all kinds of fun noises while he's doing it!
