Spring Break 2015

Spring Break 2015 started out in in McKinney, TX! It was a fun time spent with James' family there. All the cousins had oh so much fun together! 

Then back to M-town for a bit of a stay-cation to wrap up spring break! The weather wasn't great, but we made the most of it!

Memphis in March - In Like a Lion

Snow! Finally! Real…actual…deep...fluffy white snow! And on March 5, no less! Crazy! I'll be the first to admit that I'm over winter and ready for some spring temps…BUT Memphis never gets snow. Not like this. Or at least not very often and not since James and I moved here 11 years ago! So instead of wishing winter away, we made the most of it and made as many memories as we could squeeze into the day!  To start the day, we invited friends over to go sledding with us down our big hill! And on top of that many of the neighbors were out to enjoy too. We basically had an impromptu snow party! So fun!!

I'm coaching hurdles this spring for Harding Academy and the kids have been joining me for practice in the afternoons. Case asked me if he could give the hurdles a try so I set up the training hurdles for him! He had so much fun and was a natural! Makes this mommas heart happy to see that grin on his face at the end of this video! Future track star or not…I love this kid!
