I love love love this time of year. And I have a new appreciation for it now that I have kids. Especially since Case is old enough now to really get into the spirit of things. We've been busy making special memories in Memphis with our friends and can't wait to spend time with our families over the next few weeks!

Emery required bribing with a candy cane to even consider sitting on Santa's lap! |

The boys loved the train, of course. Case could have stayed there all day! |
Tacky Sweater Holiday Party
James was such a good sport. If you know him very well, then you know this is so not his thing. But he endured and actually had a great time! Such a fun night with our friends from Highland!

Erin's festive headband was a nice touch! |
Starry Nights
We opted to go through Starry Nights by foot instead of in our car so that we could make it last a bit longer and get a little exercise. We met up with our friends, the Butlers (Erin, Murray, Cole and Jordan) and It was a nice night, but a bit cooler than we had anticipated. Emery would not keep her mittens on so her little hands were frozen, but she recovered on the warm ride home just fine and then we all enjoyed some hot chocolate when we got home!

Highland Day School Christmas Program
What a hoot! Case mostly just moved his lips to the words of the songs, I think. He might have been singing, but it was hard to tell. He was singing very quietly if at all! Ha! I got it on video, of course for us to embarrass him with 15 years from now!
