Emery's 11th Birthday

I think it is safe to say that Emery had a BIG 11th Birthday! Her actual birthday started with a few cards and a gift, was followed by a Chick-fil-a lunch and ended with a gooey butter bar for dessert.

And then a week or so later, we took off to Franklin, TN for a mom/daughter weekend to celebrate even more. We stayed in a "tiny house" at Emery's request and we shopped till we dropped. Such a fun weekend with my big girl! We had a blast.

Emery,

Happy 11th Birthday to you! You are funny, kind, goofy, tough, creative, athletic, musical and smart ... just to name a few of the words that best describe you. We are so grateful God brought you into our family. You bring the spunk and a lot of entertainment, for sure!

This year you became a big sister and have stepped into that role beautifully. Maisy is one lucky girl having a big sister like you. You have been a natural, form helping take care of her as a tiny baby to entertaining her now as a babbling toddler. She laughs the hardest at you. You can simply make a funny face at her and she will belly-laugh. She loves playing with you!

In addition to your year being filled with the usual soccer, crafting and track, you tried a few new things this year including cross country, sewing and piano and are awesome at all! A gal of many talents, for sure. We are so proud of you!

You are currently into tiny houses (watching a lot of Tiny House Nation) and adventure shows, including the classic reality show, Survivor.

We love the young lady you are becoming and can't wait to see what the next year holds.

Love,

Mom & Dad
