We had a great fall break in the Smoky Mountains. We stayed at an awesome new VRBO just outside of Townsend that was on top of the world and away from the crowds. We spent a lot of time just relaxing and taking in the view!
We hit the national park one day for some hiking (partly in the rain), but didn't let the rain stop us from having a good time. In fact, the rain kept the crowds away so we may have even preferred it.
It wouldn't be a trip to East Tennessee without a trip to Dollywood. There was rain in the forecast which kept the crowds way but it only rained during lunch. So we enjoyed a day of riding ride after ride without a wait. It was fantastic! And the Halloween decorations were totally over the top! So many cute photo opps. Maisy and MawMaw stayed at the cabin and had their own fun for the day.
A much needed relaxing getaway with family!
