Emery's 10th Birthday

I surprised Emery with a trip to North Carolina to see Evangeline for her birthday and what a great trip it was!  Montreat, NC was like someplace out of a movie that's not actually real. It would definitely not be a bad place to live and was super fun to visit! 

We literally walked out the Dasher's back door and hit the trailhead. Again, like a dream!

DOUBLE DIGITS! Can't believe our girl is a whole decade old! Emery, happy birthday, sweet girl! These days it's easy to catch you skipping, singing, preparing care packages for the homeless, creating art of any and every kind, and generally cracking us up (sometimes just with a look or random comment). You bring so much joy to our family and we love you so much! Happy Birthday, Emmy Lu!
