Christmas 2020

We've had a wonderful Christmas season and are sad it's over! There were some fun and festive events at school to get us in the spirit ...

Harding Academy Elf on the Shelf

Case's first band concert

Live-streamed so our families could watch

Emery's class's fine arts performance for the Admissions office

Holiday Snapchat filter fun ...

Since we didn't make it to Waverly for Thanksgiving, we decided to go the weekend before Christmas.

Christmas Eve with all our people was so good! 2020 won't go down in history as our favorite year ever but we will always be grateful for the gift of time it gave us with our expanded family. Dozens of dinners around the table, conversations about racial justice, card game controversies, church services from the couch, bandwidth overage charges and so much more. So while it's not our favorite, we will still cherish its memories. Merry Christmas 2020, everyone!

Christmas Eve Zoom with the Fowlkes to open presents.

Santa came! Those kids must have been good this year!

The aftermath ...

Time for chocolate gravy! Yummy!!

Momma's tired ...
