Camp Highland 2018 lived up to it's name "Best week of the year." It was bittersweet for James and me because it was Case's first year (so exciting) and the seniors last year (so sad). Case had a great time! The only little hiccup he had was difficulty falling asleep the first night. His counselor called James at 12:30AM and James popped over to his cabin and gave him a Benadryl. That was the only night he had trouble falling to sleep. I think every other night he crashed pretty hard.
You can check out the abbreviated camp video on Facebook! Looking forward to getting the full version.

Emery came out and joined us everyday for a few hours of play time. She's (un)patiently waiting for her turn to be an official camper.
She was finally brave enough to try the giant slide (and she loved it)
I honestly didn't see Case that much. The older kids and younger kids are really only together during meals and at night during worship. So I got lucky when I walked by the giant swing one afternoon on my way to the lake with the seniors and noticed Case was getting harnessed up. So I got to watch him conquer the swing and he loved it. I was impressed with how brave all the 4th graders were.
One of our senior girls was baptized on Thursday night! Such a special moment. We were thrilled to be a part of it.
