Field Tripping (among other school related things)

I had the pleasure of joining Case and his class for the 3rd grade Mississippi River field trip. I missed part 1 (riverboat ride) but met up with everyone for part 2 (Mud Island River Museum) and it was so much fun! I had never been over there so it was an all new experience. We can't wait to go back this summer.

Sleeping quarters on the riverboat replica in the museum

The outdoor river replica was my favorite part. Super impressive!

Found Brierview Ave!

Finally made it to the Gulf of Mexico!

I also accompanied Emery to the 1st grade field trip to the Planetarium at the Pink Palace. Not as many opportunities for photos on this one, but I did manage to get a quick group shot.

Emery's class led chapel recently. A super cute crayon skit based on the book The Day the Crayons Quit. We were super proud of our black crayon!

And last but not least, the Lower School art show was last week and the kids really did a great job on their submissions.
