The Nowlins have truly had a wonderful Christmas holiday season this year! I'm so sad every year when it seems to fly by way too fast. Trying to soak up all the magic that comes along with it.
One of our first stops post-Thanksgiving was to pick up our tree! It took two trips to find just the right one.
Star Wars the Last Jedi viewing in honor of David's birthday (just a good excuse to go on opening day).
Olympic Day 2017 at River City Gymnastic. It was epic.
That beam routine. It was something all right. Hey Emery ... just a bit of advice. If you are looking at anything other than the beam ... you WILL fall off. Keep that in mind next time, would ya? :)
Emery's 1st grade class led chapel and read the story of the Grinch. Emery got to be Cindy Lou Who. I'd say she NAILED IT!
Took advantage of walk/bike/run night at Starry Nights. Super fun to ride our bikes!
Winter break fun at the zoo
Gingerbread house building. Not bad for our first ever.
Annual gift exchange with friends
In addition to Star Wars, we saw a LOT of other movies. The Star, Ferdinand and The Greatest Showman. We loved The Star. It was super duper cute and a great way to remember the real reason for the season. And The Greatest Showman is the best movie I've seen in years. A must see in my opinion. I am dying to go back and see it again!
Annual Bass Pro after-school Santa pic
Celebrating with the 11th grade girls huddle from Highland
#twinning with my mini-me
Annual Brierwood Neighborhood girls favorite things party
The weekend before Christmas we headed to Waverly to celebrate with James' family.
Ready to head to Nashville for the Nutcracker
We headed back to Memphis on Christmas Eve and could see this massive light display from I-40 in Jackson and decided to check it out. It was an awesome 2 mile long light display that went along with Christmas music you turned on the radio. It was worth the pit stop!
Case got a couple of nerf guns and Star Wars Battlefront II video game
Emery got a gymnastics bar, matching doll clothes and a few other goodies.
CJ got a new Nike hoodie and some new gaming headphones
Christmas morning tradition of biscuits and chocolate gravy. It was a first for CJ and he loved them!
Peter Pan at Playhouse on the Square
The weekend after Christmas, we headed to Mtn. View for Christmas with my family.
Whew! What a crazy fun month of celebrating! Looks like everyone was good this year! 2017 has been a good year!
