We have had a fantastic fall break! Started the week off in Memphis with a trip to the zoo. It was a bit warmer than expected, so I just let the kids get in the geysers, clothes and all!
Mid-week we headed to East Tennessee with James' parents for a few days. This was our third year to spend fall break over there. Seems to have become a bit of a tradition.
Thursday was spent at Dollywood and it could not have been a better day. No crowd, no long lines, perfect weather…we were there when they opened the gates and closed the place down. I bet we rode every ride in the park at least 2-3 times or more. I was too busy riding rides to take many pics! Case was excited to finally be tall enough to ride Wild Eagle. It did not disappoint.

Friday we headed into the Great Smokey Mountain National Park for some hiking. We decided to hike Clingmans Dome which is the highest point in entire park. So high that it was still in the clouds! And it was cool and windy.

After our hike we decided to head down to a lower and warmer elevation for a picnic along a great stream.

We wrapped up Friday enjoying the water park at our resort.
