It's official. I no longer have a baby. We've upgraded to a booster seat in the car and we are (finally) potty trained. Nope. No more baby. We have a four year old!
We celebrated her birthday a bit early when Nana and Poppy Whit where here in March. In fact, we celebrated both Emery and Poppy Whit's birthdays while they were here!
Then her actual birthday rolled around and we celebrated again…all weekend long!
The day before (Good Friday) Emery and I went to see Cinderella while the boys went to see Home |
Putting in the heart |
Of course she wanted to build and Elsa bear. Of course! And not only that, but she just had to include sound, which is a portion of the song, "Let it go!" What were we thinking?? Since it was our first time to build-a-bear (and probably our last) and because it was her birthday, I wanted her to get sound if she really wanted it. But why that song??? Can't wait until the battery runs out! Ha!
But seriously she loves her Elsa bear and had a great time building her. That place just sucks you in and all your money along with you!
We then went to the Collierville town square for some lunch and ice cream!
Not pictured is a fun night spent grilling out with friends at our house. Don't know why I didn't get out the camera to document. It was a night full of fun!
All cleaned up and ready to head to bed with our new "friends" Elsa bear and Toothless.
It was a fun day celebrating our little bit! And although we didn't have a party, we hope that the day spent together as a family and then with a few special friends for dinner was just as special. We love you Emery! You are a spunky little thing that makes us laugh constantly! We wouldn't trade you for anything!
